Airline Idle Tycoon (the “App”) does not require an account and does not send your game progress to any server. The App displays ads via Google AdMob; data collected by Google through that SDK is described below.
Information stored on your device
To make the App useful between sessions, the following data is stored locally on your device using Apple’s on-device storage (no cloud sync):
- Your accumulated cash, XP, level, and stars.
- Your aircraft fleet inventory and mechanical wear conditions.
- Your route schedules, unlocked regions, and country unlocks.
- Theme preference, sound toggles, and advertising consent choices.
This information is removed when you delete the App or clear the App’s data through iOS Settings.
Data collected by the Google AdMob SDK
The App uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). The following 7 data types are collected by AdMob — none of them are collected by us (the developer):
Device ID
Your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS). This is collected only if you grant permission via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, non-personalised ads are shown and no Device ID is read. Used for third-party advertising. Linked to your identity. Used to track you (only with your consent).
Product Interaction
Ad interaction events: impressions viewed, ads tapped, rewarded-video completions. Used by Google to measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and serve relevant ads. Used for third-party advertising. Linked to your identity. Used to track you (only with your consent).
Other Usage Data
Additional usage signals collected by the AdMob SDK, such as ad request frequency and SDK session data. Used for third-party advertising. Not linked to your identity. Not used to track you.
Crash Data
Crash logs generated by the AdMob SDK itself (not by the App’s game code). Used to maintain SDK stability. Not linked to your identity. Not used to track you.
Performance Data
SDK performance metrics such as ad load latency and render times. Used to optimise ad delivery. Not linked to your identity. Not used to track you.
Other Diagnostic Data
Additional diagnostic information collected by the AdMob SDK, including device model, OS version, language, and memory/CPU indicators. Used to diagnose SDK issues. Not linked to your identity. Not used to track you.
Coarse Location
Approximate location derived from your IP address (city or region level). No precise GPS coordinates are ever accessed. Used by Google to serve geographically relevant ads. Not linked to your identity. Not used to track you.
Google acts as an independent data controller for all of the above. See the Google Privacy Policy. In the EU/UK, ad personalisation is gated behind a consent prompt powered by Google’s UMP SDK.
Notifications
If you enable alerts, the App schedules local notifications on your device (e.g. informing you when an active aircraft completes a flight cycle or grounds for repairs). These notifications are generated locally by iOS — no notification content is sent through any server.
Data we (the developer) do not collect
We do not ask for and do not receive your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or precise location. We do not run analytics of our own and we do not sell data. The only third party that receives data through the App is Google, in its role as the AdMob provider, as described above.
Children’s privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. Because the App displays third-party ads, we do not knowingly enable ad personalisation for users under 13.
Third-party content
Static airport coordinate scales and metadata parameters are compiled from the open database of OurAirports (Public Domain).
